Training School & Flight Instructors
2015 was a difficult year for Elite Helicopters when due to health issues we suddenly found ourselves two instructors down and unable to offer the continuity that we normally could and which we know and understand that students want. We battled through this difficult time by recruiting at very short notice the services of Ian Lunt and Dave Milton to support us whilst we re-grouped and looked for a more permanent solution. Whilst this was not the ideal situation for our students both Ian and Dave literally stepped in to help us out and were fantastic in doing so, between them they managed to keep the training school going.
A big thank you to Dave & Ian and also a big thank you to any students affected for your patience and understanding.
You never know, we may hear from Chris again if he decides to return to the UK after his travels – fingers crossed!
We also extend a warm welcome to Tony Trigg, who has recently joined us on a full time basis. You will be hearing from Tony (Trigger) a lot more in future articles and please do follow his posts on Facebook and Twitter.
Again we do appreciate that the change around of instructional staff has caused some issues with availability and continuity in the training school. We hope we are now a long way down the line to resolving these problems and we do sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding through what was a difficult period for us to manage efficiently.
A recent addition to our fleet is R22 G-VVBE. A really nice little aircraft complete with Night Kit so if you are a PPL with 100 hours post licence why not have a chat with us about doing something interesting and completing your Night rating?

Social media is the easiest way to keep up to date with what is happening. We admit we have been a bit lacking on this front but bear with us we are getting better and have put ‘Trigger’ in charge of being more pro-active with this..

Please feel free to post any nice picture NICE comments or news. We don’t mind it being light hearted and fun but we do ask that you keep it clean and appropriate (that’s why we don’t allow Glenn access to the accounts).
