Please take the time to look at the list of dangerous goods not permitted.

— Trial Lesson Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue. Additional charges may be incurred to extend the validity period if required by the voucher holder. The voucher has no cash value but may be passed to another person should the recipient not wish to use it.

— The voucher will be automatically extended should your lesson be cancelled due to weather or other problems encountered beyond the control of Elite Helicopters

— If you are unable to attend a pre-booked lesson you must notify us at least 24 hours prior to your booked time. Non-attendance of a booked lesson will invalidate the voucher.

— Flight time is classed as engine start to engine stop.

— The Robinson R22 helicopter has a seat weight limit of 17 stone.

— The R22 & Cabri G2 are two-seat helicopters (instructor and student) and as such an R22/Cabri G2 Gift Voucher is valid for one person only to fly.

— The R44 is a 4 seat Helicopter (Instructor plus three). The principal Gift Voucher holder will fly in the front seat alongside the instructor, two additional passengers may occupy the rear seats and accompany them on the flight, provided that they fully understand that this flight is undertaken as a Trial Lesson/Training Flight and not a Public Transport Sightseeing or Charter flight.

— You may bring family and friends along with you on the day if you wish, however for obvious security reasons at the aerodrome only the voucher holder will be permitted to go airside and will be accompanied by the instructor or another member of staff at all times. However family and friends will be able to view the flying activities from our viewing lounge which looks out over the helicopter operating area.

— If on the day you would like to have some photographs taken on your camera then please ask the instructor pilot to arrange this for you

— Please note that no booking is confirmed unless a signed and completed Charter Agreement form is received by Elite Helicopters prior to task. All flights are conducted at the pilot’s discretion.

— Payment is required with cleared funds prior to all flights unless agreed otherwise. Payment may be made cash, cheque, BACS, debit card or credit card. Corporate cards will attract a small surcharge of 2.75% for Visa and MasterCard and 3.5% for American Express. Payments by BACS or International Bank Transfer are to be made without any deductions for bank charges or funds transmission fees.

— All charter bookings are accepted subject to confirmation that any proposed landing site is suitable for helicopter operations and for the specific type of helicopter to be supplied for the task.

— All bookings are subject to Airport/Heliport slot allocations and landing permissions (where applicable). Additional charges may be incurred due to timing/date changes, passenger changes/delays and additional flying incurred at the client’s request. Additional charges incurred en-route will be passed on at cost. The hourly rate will be charged pro-rata calculated at 0.1 hour (6 minute) intervals.

— Flights within the Heathrow Air Traffic Zone are all subject to approval by Heathrow on the day.

— For flights operating to/from The London Heliport – Parking charges apply once the helicopter has been on the ground for 15 minutes. Surcharges also apply before 0730L and after 1930L Monday to Friday or before 0800L and after 1800L at weekends. If incurred, all unplanned parking fees and surcharges will be re-charged to the customer at cost at the current published rates (subject to change without prior notification).

— We reserve the right to pass on to the charterer any increases imposed on the Company by third party suppliers for services such as landing fees, handling charges, equipment hire etc. in the event that said increases have been imposed between the date of the original quotation and the completion date of the task.

— Unless otherwise agreed, in advance, we reserve the right to use the aircraft for other tasks during any unutilised periods.

— Whilst every effort will be made to ensure timings and destinations are adhered to, the final decision for the safe operation of the aircraft remains at the discretion of the captain.

— If, prior to the flight commencing, the Captain determines that the agreed route cannot be guaranteed due to inclement weather forecasts, or the flight cannot be commenced due to weather conditions, a full refund will be given, less any third-party charges incurred that are non-refundable e.g. landing fees. Elite Helicopters cannot be held responsible for any compensation or damages as a result of the flight not proceeding as planned. If the Charterer wishes the flight to commence, or the aircraft is positioned at the Charterer’s request, and the flight is subsequently diverted or abandoned due to bad weather, any costs incurred will be charged to the Charterer.

— Elite Helicopters will endeavour to assist with ground transportation wherever requested. However, we do not accept responsibility for timings, missed flights or any other problems resulting from these arrangements.

— The amount of baggage permitted on a flight will vary according to the type of aircraft, number/weight of passengers and the length of the flight. Please check baggage limits before your flight. Baggage should, wherever possible, be soft bags/holdalls. Baggage hold space is limited. A limited number of hard suitcases may be taken on each flight, subject to aircraft type. The pilot’s decision is final.

— Cancellation Charges:
Less than 7 days, but more than 48 hours before the time of the first flight – 25% of Charter Price.
Less than 48 hours before time of first flight – 50% of Charter Price.
Less than 24 hours before time of first flight – 75% of Charter Price.
Cancellations at or after scheduled departure time of first flight (No Show) – 100% of Charter Price.
