Special Events Calendar

Elite Helicopters offer a complete and comprehensive charter service to most major Sporting & Special events. We also set up, organise and operate Temporary Licensed or Un-Licensed Heliports in association with Special Events. Dates for all the events below can be found on the left or on the home page.

The British Grand Prix

For the British Grand Prix we establish a Licensed Heliport at Upper Aynho Grounds (just off J10 of the M40). Our customers enjoy a sumptuous full English Breakfast with us in a delightful 18th Century converted barn at Aynho Grounds before flying directly into the Helipad at Silverstone Circuit with a return flight after racing is completed. Full security, safe parking and backup transport are in place at this superb site.

Based at Goodwood Aerodrome Elite Helicopters are ideally located to offer Helicopter Charter and Air Taxi service to all three of these prestigious events. We can pick passengers up from Hotels, Airports or other chosen Venues. In addition to this we are offering two special Shuttle Service options.

Helicopter Shuttle Service From Eashing Farm, Milford.

We have a lovely ‘Green Field’ site at Eashing Farm, Milford just of the main A3 London to Portsmouth road, ideal for clients travelling from London or the North. The flight to Milford to Goodwood is a 15-minute ‘Traffic Beating’ trip over the lovely West Sussex countryside.

Helicopter Shuttle Service From Fontwell Park.

Fontwell Park Racecourse is located directly alongside the A27 at the junction with the A29 between Chichester and Arundel. Fontwell Park is an ideal venue for clients travelling from the East or out of London on the A24 or A29.  The flight from Fontwell to Goodwood is about 5 minutes and is a quick and easy way to beat the traffic queues on the final approach to Goodwood.  There is plenty of secure parking at Fontwell.

Helicopters Operators are not permitted to fly into the Festival Of Speed site at Goodwood House and therefore all flight are direct into Goodwood Aerodrome where courtesy vehicles are waiting to transfer passengers via a dedicated route direct into the show site.

Farnborough International

Elite Helicopters are contracted to manage and conduct the Heliport Operations at Farnborough International on behalf of The Society of British Aerospace Companies Ltd. (SBAC). We also offer a Charter service from Airports, Hotels and of course Battersea Heliport in Central London direct into Farnborough International.

We are able to offer either a Sole Use Charter Service or a Shuttle Service to all of the major Horse Racing events. Additionally we offer a service to most Racecourses for individual events throughout the year.
