Aerial Photography and Filming

Our Head Office is located at White Waltham Airfield, a quaint World War II airfield which still has an air of the 1940's about it, we are only 2 miles from junction 8/9 of the M4, 10 minutes from junction 4 of the M40 and approximately 40 minutes from London City Centre. Our other base is located at Goodwood Aerodrome, on the South Coast, within the historic motor racing circuit, and close to the Solent and Isle of Wight.

Operating Bell Jetranger helicopters, we offer our clients very competitive rates for aerial photography and video filming.

The Bell Jetranger makes the ideal platform for either stills photography or filming work. You have various options with the Jetranger. Doors front and back can be removed, allowing plenty of room for filming, or for those not so keen to hang out of the side, a simple sliding window gives the photographer a fair measure of room to capture his target area satisfactorily.

In addition to the above, we can also arrange the fitting of camera mounts if required. There are a variety of mounts available and costs for these range from £850.00 to £1200.00 per day's hire. This charge includes the services of a licensed engineer to fit and remove the mount as required under Civil Aviation Authority regulations.

On normal operations the Jetranger carries 4 passengers, although on photographic sorties we would suggest a maximum of 3 persons on board is more suitable. This allows more room for your cameras and equipment and gives each passenger a window seat. However, when a camera mount is installed the aircraft is limited to carrying two passengers.

Our prices for helicopter charter are very competitive. We operate on a one hour's minimum hire period. After the first hour, the remainder of the flight is charged pro-rata.

For filming and photographic sorties, we accept that our clients are normally hoping for ideal weather conditions. In the event of inclement weather causing postponement of the flight, no charges for the helicopter will be incurred as the weather is not within our control.
