ELITE HELICOPTERS WIN NEW CONTRACT
Helitech Portugal– Cascais Municipal Aerodrome
5th– 6th & 7th October 2010
Elite Helicopters are pleased to announce that thecompany has been awarded the contract to provide Airside Ground Operation at Helitech Portugalin 2010. The event will again be held at the Aerodrome Municipal de Cascais from the 5th to 7th October 2010.
Elite Helicopters provided the Ground Operation services at the inaugural event held at Cascais in October 2008 and are pleased to be invited back again. Responsibilities at the events will include the Marshalling and Parking of all visiting Helicopters, the coordination of demonstration flights and the handling and manoeuvring of all Helicopters intoand out of the Static Display area within the Exhibition site, which involves moving both Skidded and Wheeled helicopters into position ready for the exhibition.
Demonstration aircraft will be parked in a specific area in a secure area in front of the exhibition hall,whilst this area is classed as ‘Airside’ it is cordoned off and easily accessible for pilots and guests.
There will be a parking area for all visiting helicopters adjacent to the exhibition. Upon landing, visitors will be required to sign in at the Helitech Airside Control Office, from where they will also gain access to the Exhibition.
