TWO DOWN – HOW MANY TO GO ?

And that’s just this month

What a weekend (well four days actually at the Festival of Speed). The 1st to 4th July was the Goodwood Festival of Speed and on the 3rd & 4th July we also had the Waddington Air Show event.

At both of these prestigious events Elite Helicopters were operating not only Multi Aircraft Pleasure Flying but also Shuttle Services to the events and Ad-Hoc Charter. Over the course of the two shows we flew in excess of 3000 passengers on Pleasure Flights and numerous Celebrities to and from the events including three Formula One drivers.

Next: The British Grand Prix weekend. We will again be operating our service from Upper Aynho Grounds into Silverstone, this has been a very successful service for us over the years, not quite as busy as it was back it the Mansell Mania era, when we flew 600 people into Silverstone before 12:00 and then bought them all back out in the afternoon/evening, but still a great weekend for us.

Straight after Silverstone we are off to set up for the Farnborough Air Show Heliport Operations. The event itself (FIA 2010) runs from the19th to 24th July. But guess what, that’s not all. The 16th and 17th we are operating at the Portland Steam Fair and North Mundham, and then from the 22nd through to the 25th we are at War & Peace at The Kent Hop Farm.

Oh and then of course we have Glorious Goodwood at the end of the month.

Yes July is a busy month
