ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL :: ELITE HELICOPTERS

Friday 11 – Sunday 13 June
An established event on the Music Festival calendar, the Isle of Wight Festival has attracted an impressive line up for the three day event. Thousands of people will be heading for the south coast to cross the Solent from Southsea, Southampton and Portsmouth by boat and by hovercraft. Flying to the Festival by helicopter will be quicker, easier – and much more stylish!
The Festival has been running since 1968, and features a huge range of big names for 2010. Friday night has been billed as the Ladies of the Wight Night . Ranging from Suzi Quattro to Suzanne Vega, from Blondie to Florence and the Machine, Crowded House to Spandau Ballet there are acts to suit all ages and interests across the whole weekend.
Elite Helicopters specialise in flights to special events, including horse racing, polo matches, motor racing, regattas and music festivals. Our fleet ranges from the recession-busting Robinson R44 through to the VVIP Agusta 109, and also includes the ever-popular Jet Ranger, Long Ranger and AS350 Squirrel.
The Festival is based in a large park in the centre of the Isle of Wight. With two airfields on the Island, as well as number of private landing sites, a flight from Goodwood across the Solent to the Isle of Wight takes less than 20 minutes. A flight from London (Battersea) Heliport will take little more than 35 minutes.
