GRAND NATIONAL, AINTREE :: ELITE HELICOPTERS

Possibly the most famous National Hunt race on the calendar, the Grand National at Aintree is one of the most watched horse races in the world. With a history dating back over 170 years, the meeting is now held over three days. The Grand National Festival starts on Thursday 8 April, with Ladies Day on Friday 9 April and Grand National Day on Saturday 10 April.

A dedicated heliport will be running during the Grand National meeting, meaning that it will be possible to get there and back on the same day.

Elite Helicopters specialise in flights to special events, including horse racing, polo matches, motor racing, regattas and music festivals. Our fleet ranges from the recession-busting Robinson R44 through to the VVIP Agusta 109, and also includes the ever-popular Jet Ranger, Long Ranger and AS350 Squirrel.

Elite Helicopters is offering a bespoke helicopter charter service to the event. Using an Agusta 109, which can carry up to six passengers in comfort, a flight from London (Battersea) Heliport to Aintree will take only one hour and 20 minutes, or one hour 35 minutes by Squirrel for up to five passengers. A flight from Goodwood will take just 1½ hours from Goodwood by Agusta 109 or 1¾ hours by Squirrel.
