C’est Magnifique!

Elite Helicopters were delighted to be the first helicopter operator in the UK to be offered the chance to view the brand new French-built Guimbal Cabri G2 helicopter. The aircraft flew to Goodwood to allow a large group of our instructors, students and self-fly hire customers to take a close look at the helicopter. The pilots, Ollie and Steve, came with the aircraft and were happy to answer the many questions fired at them by our eager visitors.

Following viewing and questioning many of our guests accepted the offer of a demonstration flight in this brand new aircraft type – and they all came back very impressed!

This is the first new training helicopter to be launched for two decades, and it boasts many new features. With a “glass cockpit”, three rotor blades, fenestron tail and an estimated five hours flight endurance time and many other innovative features this helicopter is bound to make its mark on the flight training scene.

We were privileged to host a visit from the only Cabri in the country for the day and we look forward to seeing many more in the UK skies in the next few months.
