Mountain Flying 2011

People come to Elite Helicopters to learn to fly for all kinds of different reasons. It may be something they have always wanted to do, it may be a personal challenge, or they may want to use a helicopter for transport for private or business reasons. It may even be that they want a career as a commercial helicopter pilot.

Whatever the reason, we like to make helicopter flying challenging as well as enjoyable for our students and for those who have their pilot’s licence. We have a series of activities planned for the coming months – the first of which is a trip to France.

On the weekend of March 18 – 22 our helicopters will set off from Goodwood, destination Courchevel in the French Alps. The trip will route via Paris to take in the Paris Helilanes, overnighting at the Paris Issy Heliport. Flying will be shared equally among all the pilots on the trip, so everyone will get the experience of flying across France and at altitude in the Alps.
